RECONDITIONING OF DIES
AB Industrial Diamond supports you with both words and deeds in order
to revive your used dies. If you wish to reduce your internal maintenance
expense and still want your dies to be repaired the best way, we directly
forward your used dies to our die reconditioning shop.
On receipt of the dies in situ, they will be checked regarding current size of the diameter, wear pattern, rings or chips and surface. Our experts inspect and select the dies in such a way that the reusable dies will be repolished to the next higher / requested new diameter size with a minimum increase in microns - hence you can directly reuse the die for wire drawing.
If we notice any abnormal wear or premature breakage in the dies thus making reconditioning impossible, you will receive the respective dies back (untreated and certainly free-of-charge) in order for you being able to cross-check the detected defects.
You will receive a detailed statement for every reconditioning service, naming each repolished die based on the serial number and the new diameter size.
